Nick Hales Young Investigator Award

This Diabetes UK award is in recognition of the enormous contribution to Basic Science by Nick Hales, funded by Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. The aim of the award is to recognise high quality research in any area of basic science (biomedical laboratory science including animal studies, molecular genetics, immunology, beta cell biology and fundamental studies of insulin action). The award is made for the best basic science oral abstract presentation at the Annual Professional Conference.
