New Investigators' Competition

The Natural Environment Research Council's New Investigators' competition is for investigators at the outset of their scientific career. Who within three years of first becoming eligible to apply for NERC funding as a principal investigator and who have never received NERC funding as a principal or co-investigator on a NERC research grant.

The maximum funding that may be sought is £40,000 for the total directly Incurred costs and in addition, NERC will pay the standard proportion of directly allocated and indirect costs.
