NHS Estates manages a research and development fund on behalf of the Department of Health, to encourage exploration of topics specifically related to the built environment and non-clinical support in the NHS, within both primary and secondary care sectors.
The fund is intended to aid research and development that will contribute to the effective, efficient and economical management of property and equipment, to promote excellent design and value for money in new buildings and benefit the patient.
