Medication concern

One in 20 emergency admissions to hospital is due to adverse reactions to prescribed medicines, says Hugh McGavock, a prescribing science expert at Ulster University. This could stem from patients taking medicine incorrectly and from GPs making wrong diagnoses, he said.
