A 9ft bronze statue by renowned sculptor Michael Sandle is under wraps at a secret location while the University of Dundee finds a suitable site for it.

Some of the more conservative citizenry may reckon there is no such place - the sculpture is a masked woman, with breasts cast from lemon squeezers, wielding a wreath of burning penises.

But Alan Robb, head of the school of fine art, described the loan as "a most exciting opportunity for the university and the city to come to terms with and enjoy an extremely powerful sculptural statement - one that deals with male emasculation by women".
