And another legal success story: Eddie "the eagle" Edwards, formerly Britain's first and only Olympic ski jumper, has graduated in law from De Montfort University. Famous for coming last with some spectacularly shaky jumps at the 1988 Calgary winter olympics, the 39-year-old graduate is hoping his 2:2 LLB will launch him into a career in the legal profession or with the police.
