Campus victory for gay couples
Gay couples have won the right to “marry” in the gothic chapel of Duke University in North Carolina. Duke already allows same-sex commitment ceremonies for staff, students and alumni elsewhere on campus.
Students fight bankruptcy change
The Canadian Federation of Students is challenging the constitutionality of a recent change to the Bankruptcy Act, which prohibits students from declaring bankruptcy until more than ten years after they have graduated.
