IST in FP6 workshop

The Riga Technical University is organising a workshop entitled 'IST 6th Framework programme - great opportunity for cooperation and collaboration', to take place on 6 and 7 April in Riga, Latvia.

The workshop aims at strengthening scientific and technological cooperation and collaboration among EU countries in field of information technology (IT) applications for a new working environment, e-learning, e-logistics and digital cultural and scientific resources. It will also show how IST activities can facilitate collaboration between Latvia and other EU Member States.

The main goal of the workshop is to increase awareness of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) and forthcoming FP7 through lesson learned from the participation of Baltic States in previous IST programmes.
