J R Beard Travelling Fund

To enable Younger members of the IEE to travel overseas to broaden their professional experience. Applicants must already be either a Student or Associate Member at the date of application.

Six awards per annum

Hudswell Bequest Travelling Fellowship

To enable IEE members, who are UK research students, to travel overseas to further the research being undertaken. Applicants must already be in a class of membership at the date of application.

Four awards per annum

The Princess Royal Scholarship

To enable an IEE member to use his/her professional knowledge and experience to provide a benefit to an underprivileged community, or similar, in a developing country. Applicants must already be in a class of membership at the date of application.

The D H Thomas Travel Bursary

To assist IEE members to undertake research in Europe (preferably Germany) related to their postgraduate education or professional interests. Applicants must already be in a class of membership at the date of application.
