GlaxoSmithKline is inviting applications for the 2002 GlaxoSmithKline Elion Herpesvirus Research Awards, which it is supporting in memory of Dr Gertrude B Elion and her role in herpesvirus research.
Two categories of award are offered:
The GlaxoSmithKline Elion Young Investigators Awards aim to recognize young scientists who have published work on any aspect of herpesviruses
The GlaxoSmithKline Elion Research Award aims to assist scientists planning to undertake a research project on any aspect of herpesviruses.
