A group of international universities working on delivering the energy of the future now have their second European member, Heriot-Watt University. It joins Imperial College London and 15 other institutions in the Chevron University Partnership Programme. The power company will provide £150,000-worth of scholarships and support to Heriot-Watt's Institute of Petroleum Engineering and to its chemical and mechanical engineering studies. Energy is one of the five key themes in Heriot-Watt's new strategy.
