Over the past week, a row has been raging in cyberspace between university librarians after an article on Marquette University in the US, which will be stocked primarily with computer consoles rather than old-fashioned books. Under discussion was whether libraries really needed books. One contributor - has resolved the question. "Is there really a competition between forms of delivery? While promoting and using online resources with students, I've yet to find one who wants to go to bed with a good computer." Quite.
