The foundation, which promotes and supports basic and clinical scientific research into epilepsy, invites applications for projects of between £10,000 and £50,000, which can be spread over one to three years. Applications are also invited for equipment of up to £10,000. Applicants should be graduates in medicine or one of the sciences allied to medicine, and should be resident in the UK.

For the project grant, available funds can be used to pay a maintenance grant plus college fees in the case of an applicant wishing to take on a postgraduate student studying for a higher degree by research, or a salary in the case of an employee working full-time or part-time. Equipment purchase and/or running costs of a project can be included. Send 12 copies of a brief summary (no more than 200 words) of the proposed application, giving details of costings, researchers involved.
