A £31,000 research grant will support research on President Barack Obama's policies and initiatives on issues such as race relations and foreign affairs. Researchers at Edge Hill University and the University of Manchester won the funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council to support The Presidency of Barack Obama network. The two-year project, which will run from January 2011 to December 2012, will be undertaken while President Obama is in office, and aims to examine developments as they happen.
