A £1.8 million government contract has been awarded to Edge Hill University to run a national training programme for primary school teachers. The money from the Department for Children, Schools and Families is part of the Government's Every Child Counts programme. From September, three Edge Hill academics will provide training and professional development for teacher leaders and intensive support teachers.
