Dean quits MIT over CV

The head of admissions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has resigned over allegations that she lied on her CV. Marilee Jones, the dean of admissions, left her job after admitting that she "misrepresented" some of her qualifications when she first joined the university. MIT has appointed an interim admissions dean and will begin the search for a permanent replacement soon. It said its admissions process was not affected by the resignation.
