A driving simulator and psychometric assessment programme that aims to improve road safety is the fruit of a partnership between Cranfield University and Balfour Beatty, the engineering, construction and services firm. The psychometric driver test will assess Balfour employees' strengths and weaknesses behind the wheel. On completing the test, drivers will then run through a number of simulator scenarios, thereby helping the company to lessen risk on the road.
