Chemists get distance MBA

The Royal Society of Scotland and the University of Strathclyde have teamed up to launch an MSc aimed at helping industrial chemists beef up their management skills.

The three-year MSc in chemical technology and management is a distance-learning, part-time modular course that will allow recent graduates and experienced industrial chemists to broaden their managerial horizons.

More than 25 companies have shown an interest in the course.
