Cardiff/Glyndwr universities - The leading edge

Businesses will be encouraged to engage with management and leadership development under a Welsh Assembly-funded project. The Centre for Excellence for Leadership and Management Skills in Wales will be hosted by Cardiff University and Glyndwr University. Gary Walpole, manager of the Leadership, Enterprise and Economic Development Unit at Cardiff Business School, and the centre's director, said: "Within universities in the UK, there is a vast amount of knowledge that can have a positive, practical implication for businesses. Previously, accessing this information has not been easy for busy businesspeople who don't have the time to trawl resources."
