Universities worldwide are taking part in a 16-hour distance learning event, "Global Leap", on March 29 aimed at introducing young people to the benefits of the broadband internet. Participants include the University of Derbyshire, which is participating in the event through a videoconferencing system in the local Brassington Arms pub.
