The British Association Media Fellowships are intended to create greater awareness and understanding of the workings of the media among practising engineers and scientists.

The scheme offers:
-A 6-8 week placement with a media host
-Financial assistance with living costs incurred during the period of placements
-An accommodation and travel grant to attend the BA's Annual Festival of Science as a representative of the media host.

Applicants must: be a scientist or engineeer; be resident in the UK; have a minimum of two years experience - in any discipline, and be working full-time in an academic or research institution.
