A university has joined forces with the BBC to launch the first master's programme in production management. The Bournemouth University programme was developed after the BBC's recent production review, which defined job competencies and training requirements for staff across the corporation and raised the status of those working in production management. Jon Wardle, director of the university's Centre for Excellence in Media Practice, said: "This is the first MA programme the BBC has delivered and it's the first MA the university has worked with a media company to support and deliver."
