Former chaplain to Bournemouth University (1999-2007). Now co-ordinator for initial ministerial education for the Diocese of Salisbury and the Bishop of Salisbury’s adviser for pastoral care of the clergy.

Bernard McManus
The first vice-chancellor of Bournemouth University until his retirement in 1994. Under his leadership, he took the Dorset Institute of Higher Education to polytechnic status in 1990 and on to university status in 1992.
