BBSRC is funding an initiative on integrated epigenetics over a four-year period to improve understanding of epigenetic mechanisms in plants, animals and microbes. It is felt that greater integration of the well-established UK communities in plant, animal and microbial epigenetics will greatly accelerate progress in this area. An overall budget of £6 million is available.
