A five-year programme of postgraduate expansion is being launched by Bangor University, with £5 million to be invested in up to 125 research studentships and related bursaries. Merfyn Jones, vice-chancellor of Bangor, said: "The scholarships scheme offers opportunities to the very best students, nationally and internationally, to work with the university's leading academics and rising stars. The new programme will achieve our aim to treble our already vibrant international postgraduate (numbers)."
