Bangor University: Hymns and arias

Budding singer-songwriters in Wales are to have a choice of language in new degree courses being launched next month at Bangor University. Creative Welsh with Popular Music will parallel an English with Songwriting degree, drawing on expertise from Bangor's schools of Welsh and music. Students will have access to the university's newly established Welsh Pop Archive. Noted Welsh-language performers Gwilym Morus, Meinir Gwilym and Caryl Parry Jones are all former students of the School of Welsh.
