The AIGM Programme offers travel grants and a small number of fellowships for researchers in the fields of the environmental impact and biosafety of genetically modified crops, to support visits of up to one year to another European country.

Applicants must be currently working in a European institute, and should preferably return to the same institute on completion of their visit, so that this institute can also benefit from the grantee's broadened knowledge. Duration: 3 to 12 months. Support: travel costs up to 600 Euro and a monthly subsistence allowance of 1550 Euro. Applications should be submitted by email to P. Cosgrove. Refer to the website for full details (www.esf.org/life/lp/AIGM/AIGM_grants.htm) .
