The University of Pécs, the oldest university in Hungary, was founded in 1367. With its 10 faculties and nearly 20,000 students today it is one of the largest Institutions of Higher Education. Besides being the oldest university in the country, the University of Pécs, as well as many of our faculties and study programs, took leading positions in highly recognized international rankings.
