Robert Gordon University. The Robert Gordon University has launched a Pounds 10 million fundraising campaign to create chairs and research fellowships in primary health care, heritage management, technology management and entrepreneurial development.

The university says it is targeting key areas where the professions are changing rapidly to meet new demands.

Principal David Kennedy says that RGU had benefited from the generosity of local entrepreneurs since its establishment in 1750 through a bequest from a merchant trader.

It is now calling on the business community to ensure that the vision shown by past benefactors in recognising the value of vocational education is shared across the centuries.
