Few gain from student ghettos 2

Columnist Gary Day complains about the imperialism of Russell Group universities (Opinion, THES , October 3) but then shows his own imperialist credentials by referring to all 19 as "being English". What about Edinburgh, Glasgow and Cardiff universities? Has he forgotten his geography and history?
