JOB DESCRIPTION Location: HCMC, Vietnam Department: Vice President Academic, Innovation & Research Report to: Vice President Academic, Innovation & Research, Millennia University POSITION OVERVIEW The Director, Pedagogy, Curriculum & Assessment at Millennia Education is a senior role providing strategic leadership in the design, development and implementation of innovative, student centred and evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment pedagogies. The role drives institutional initiatives in curriculum innovation, academic capability development, digital learning transformation and quality assurance. This role requires an influential and future focused educator with extensive experience in working across Faculties and Departments to support and deliver on the organization’s vision for the students' educational experiences and graduate outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Strategic Leadership Provide innovative, future focused and influential leadership for the Faculties and Departments in aligning their education strategy with the institutions overall vision and goals Provide high-level expertise on contemporary trends in higher education, including AI in learning and assessment, online and hybrid learning, micro-credentials and industry-engaged curriculum Champion learning-centred design, accessibility and inclusivity in learning and assessment 2. Pedagogical Innovation and Evaluation Develop drive the implementation of evidence-based and innovative learning and assessment practices across the university Develop and implement effective and industry-aligned assessment frameworks and practices to monitor and support the improvement of student progress Support Faculties in identifying interdisciplinary learning and assessment opportunities in programs Effectively collaborate with other senior leaders across the universities portfolios to ensure the development of consistent, high quality and innovation in students educational experiences Use data, benchmarks and emerging technologies to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and to drive continuous improvement in learning and assessment 3. Student Success Introduce an Early Student Feedback strategy for both educators and students Develop an agreed Students on Track set of principles Establish a program for identifying and supporting Students at Risk   4. The Clinical Trial Project Manager will lead a team and manage clinical trials and research projects across one or more therapeutic areas. This position reports to the Clinical Trials Program Manager and has direct reports. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide oversight and direction on multiple clinical trials across one or more of the clinical research programs, proactively managing the trial operations from start-up to close-out work collaboratively with the stakeholders including research collaborators, funders, vendors, the project team and relevant internal specialist groups, including, Quality & Compliance, Biomarker Research, Clinical Data Systems, Statistics and Clinical Data Management, other Clinical Trial Project Managers and the CTC Senior Leadership Team line manage team members to foster high-performing teams and ensure Personal and Professional Development (PPD) practices are adopted lead and promote process improvement to encourage quality and efficiency and contribute to Centre-wide strategic initiatives develop and manage project budgets and oversee contracts with vendors, collaborators and sites About you postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and relevant experience; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training extensive relevant working experience in project management or coordination of clinical trials and other research projects financial management experience and literacy, experience in managing budgets and overseeing income and expenditure knowledge of clinical trial requirements during their lifecycle from start up to close out, including a detailed understanding of the regulatory and ethical approval processes across Australia, as well as a thorough knowledge of ICH Guidelines and Good Clinical Practice demonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a team, and to support and develop team members in their activities and professional development (line management experience desirable) excellent time and workload management with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day-to-day operational matters proven ability to identify problems, make recommendations and implement appropriate solutions the ability and willingness to travel (20% of time).
