Your personal sphere of play: Your future position will be in the Security & Privacy research group at the Faculty of Computer Science. Our current research focuses on Software Protection, Machine Learning/AI und Security und Security and Privacy of Decentralized Systems and Distributed Ledger Technologies. In the long term, we focus on understanding complex systems in order to recognise fundamental security and privacy problems and on researching and developing solutions that go beyond mere short-term problem solving. Our team currently consists of 19 scientific and 2 administrative colleagues. You build an independent research profile in the areas of reverse engineering on mobile platforms, network security and code obfuscation and deobfuscation. You publish internationally and give lectures. You apply for projects and raise third-party funds. You prepare and complete a publication-ready habilitation. You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. You supervise your students in courses on technical and organizational security aspects. You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance. You are involved in the organization of meetings, conferences and symposia. Our research and teaching focus on public international law and international economic law. You will be involved in research, teaching, and administrative tasks.
