We provide intensive support during your postdoc phase. Your future tasks: Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means: You build up an independent research profile in the field of data mining and machine learning. You are involved in research projects and scientific studies in the area of clustering, graph mining and representation learning. You publish internationally and give lectures. You apply for projects and raise third-party funds. You can prepare and complete a habilitation. You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. You supervise and co-supervise students and PhD students. You participate in the organization of meetings, conferences, and symposiums. You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance. You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration. This is part of your personality: Completed doctoral/PhD studies in computer science with a focus on data mining. Profound research experience documented by publications at the leading conferences such as KDD, ICDM, WWW on the topics of clustering, graph mining, and representation learning. Outstanding dissertation Excellent knowledge of programming and mathematics Excellent knowledge of English (C1)  Team player and high social/communicative skills Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This position in the field of bioanalytical chemistry is dedicated to the development of innovative mass spectrometry-based workflows and data evaluation tools. The developed methods will be applied to address pressing research questions at the edge of environmental/food contaminants and human health. You may work in the framework of large-scale EU projects and are expected to collaborate with national, European, and international partners. In addition to research, this position includes teaching in accordance with the collective agreement, administrative tasks and supervising students. The position is initially limited to 4 years with the option of subsequent permanent employment. Your future tasks: Specifically, you will be involved in research, teaching, and administration. This means: You will develop new analytical or bioinformatic workflows for exposomics You will execute administrative tasks in lab and infrastructure management, research, and teaching. IIIb Reference no.: 5805 The Neuroinformatics Research Group is a small, international, and interdisciplinary team within the Faculty of Computer Science. We develop AI methods to understand the relationships between brain activity, behavior, and consciousness, and to use these insights to derive new therapeutic approaches for neurological disorders.
