JOB DESCRIPTION Location: HCMC, Vietnam Department: Vice President Academic, Innovation & Research Report to: Vice President Academic, Innovation & Research, Millennia University POSITION OVERVIEW The Director, Pedagogy, Curriculum & Assessment at Millennia Education is a senior role providing strategic leadership in the design, development and implementation of innovative, student centred and evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment pedagogies. The role drives institutional initiatives in curriculum innovation, academic capability development, digital learning transformation and quality assurance. This role requires an influential and future focused educator with extensive experience in working across Faculties and Departments to support and deliver on the organization’s vision for the students' educational experiences and graduate outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Strategic Leadership Provide innovative, future focused and influential leadership for the Faculties and Departments in aligning their education strategy with the institutions overall vision and goals Provide high-level expertise on contemporary trends in higher education, including AI in learning and assessment, online and hybrid learning, micro-credentials and industry-engaged curriculum Champion learning-centred design, accessibility and inclusivity in learning and assessment 2. Pedagogical Innovation and Evaluation Develop drive the implementation of evidence-based and innovative learning and assessment practices across the university Develop and implement effective and industry-aligned assessment frameworks and practices to monitor and support the improvement of student progress Support Faculties in identifying interdisciplinary learning and assessment opportunities in programs Effectively collaborate with other senior leaders across the universities portfolios to ensure the development of consistent, high quality and innovation in students educational experiences Use data, benchmarks and emerging technologies to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and to drive continuous improvement in learning and assessment 3. Student Success Introduce an Early Student Feedback strategy for both educators and students Develop an agreed Students on Track set of principles Establish a program for identifying and supporting Students at Risk 4. About us The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London is one of the oldest law schools in England and recognised as one of the best law schools in the world. We are based in the East Wing of Somerset House, a Grade One listed building, on our Strand Campus. This role is part of the Digital Education Team in the Law Professional Services. We operate a hybrid working policy and you will be expected to spend a minimum of two working days per week on campus. About the role This role will support the School’s online programme portfolio, of which there are currently three online programmes, with two new programmes starting in 2026. Working in a fast-paced and digitally enabled academic environment, the postholder is responsible for managing complex queries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting students from pre-enrolment to graduation and beyond. A key part of the role involves working with KEATS (Moodle) to support online learning. This includes updating course pages, uploading learning materials, and supporting the design and delivery of online assessments and activities. The postholder will also lead on the onboarding of new students, working closely with central teams to ensure a smooth and engaging start to their studies, coordinating assessments and results processing, and maintaining accurate student data, and will organise and manage events such as inductions, graduation, webinars, and academic support sessions. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, strong digital literacy, and the ability to manage competing priorities. This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
