Department: Faculty of Medicine Position: Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor Description As a pioneer of medical education of Macau, the Faculty of Medicine will continue to adhere to its university motto in developing and optimizing its medical education, namely: “Dedication to practical studies, enhancement of knowledge, ability and quality humanity and excellence”. To cope with our developmental plan, applications are invited from those with excellent academic achievements in the following areas: Professional Areas Anatomy and Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology and Microbiology; Food Science(preferably for teaching concurrently food chemistry, food processing, food research and development, and food safety); Nutritional Science(preferably for teaching concurrently clinical nutrition, public nutrition and health promotion); Chemistry(preferably for teaching concurrently organic chemistry, chemical analysis, food chemistry and analysis). Qualifications An earned Doctorate Degree in related discipline with medical degree (MBBS/MD preferred). Proven university teaching experience in related disciplines and strong experience in teaching and research (with overseas experience would be an advantage). Department: School of Pharmacy Position: Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor Description Macau University of Science and Technology established school of pharmacy at year 2016. It is the only educational institution which can offer bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with authorization from Macau SAR. Our faculty is dedicate to train clinical pharmacists and pharmaceutical professionals which can provide better service for Macau residents, promoting rational clinical drug use and to improve the drugs management level in hospital, high-end medical research as well as improving the development of pharmaceutical industry. To cope with our developmental plan, applications are invited from those with excellent academic achievements in the following areas: Professional Areas For Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Pharmacology (being able to delivery toxicology is preferable); Pharmaceutics (being able to delivery hospital pharmacist and licensed pharmacist examination are preferable). For Lecturer: Pharmacy being able to delivery pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutics and pharmacy related laboratory courses are preferable. Pharmacology being able to delivery toxicology is preferable. Department: Macau Institute of Space Technology and Application (M.I.S.T.A.) Position: Researcher/Associate Researcher/Assistant Researcher/Postdoctoral Researcher Description The Macau Institute of Space Technology and Application (M.I.S.T.A.) was established on September 1, 2023. It is a new platform in the field of Macau aerospace science and technology established by the Macau University of Science and Technology Foundation. The institute will focus on the scientific research and application of Macao satellites as well as scientific research and application work in the field of aerospace science and technology. The institute will closely focus on the development principle of "facing the world's technological frontiers, facing the main economic battlefield, and facing major national needs" and integrate Macau's aerospace science and technology capabilities into the overall situation of national aerospace science and technology innovation and development. Due to scientific research needs, the institute is currently looking to expand and strengthen its scientific and applied research fields to help Macao create a major new platform for aerospace science and technology and enhance Macao’s influence in the domestic and international science and technology circles. To cope with our developmental plan, applications are invited from those with excellent academic achievements in the following areas: Professional Areas Earth Magnetic Field Science, Geophysics, Space Physics, Data Processing and Model Forward and Inversion Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence and other fields. Qualifications An earned Doctorate degree in related discipline; The research direction is clear, able to carry out scientific research work independently, and has a strong sense of responsibility; Good organizational and coordination skills as well as teamwork and professionalism; Good reading, writing and oral communication skills in Chinese and English are preferred; Applicants with research experience in well-known universities and other institutions and who have achieved significant research results will be given priority.
