The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) is a small, independent private business school located in the Swiss city of Lausanne, created in 1990 by the merger of IMI Geneva and IMEDE Lausanne. It has drawn much of its distinctive quality from the origins of its predecessors. Both were rooted in industry rather than finance, with IMI founded by Alcan in 1946 and IMEDE by Nestlé in 1957. Around 70 per cent of its MBA graduates go to industrial jobs rather than, as with many other MBA programmes, the financial sector. Operating under the slogans of “Real Learning, Real Impact” and “Swiss roots and global reach”, IMD has chosen to remain small, focused and exclusive, offering an MBA – a one-year full-time programme running from January to December – and an executive MBA, but not expanding into doctoral programmes. IMD has Triple Crown accreditation and its programmes emphasise personal development, leadership and general management skills. MBA students are recruited via a written test followed by an assessment day, with an interview, presentation and case discussion. This occurs either at the IMD campus in Lausanne or its single satellite campus, the South East Asia Executive Learning Centre in Singapore, created in 2015. IMD MBAs are on average 31 years old, have an average of seven years of experience and represent more than 40 nationalities. Potential EMBA students are expected to have at least 10 years of business experience. Alumni include Mark Rutte, prime minister of the Netherlands since 2010. Other than its degree and executive education programmes, IMD is best known for expertise on competitiveness and the annual World Competitiveness Yearbook, which reached its 30th edition – in which the US displaced Hong Kong from top place – in 2018.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. and M.B.B.S or M.D. degree and be highly motivated in teaching and learning, with demonstrated experience and excellence in the teaching of physiology discipline for medical, nursing, pharmacy, and biomedical sciences undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. Applicants should also have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as a team, and be able to multi-task. Experience in teaching anatomy, biochemistry, or digital education in medicine is a plus. The position offered depends on level of expertise and years of teaching experience – at least 10 years for Senior Lecturer and 3 years for Lecturer. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Lecturer. The appointee will be responsible for teaching, conducting tutorials and demonstrations, supporting curriculum design, and developing teaching materials, etc. He/She will work closely with a team of colleagues dedicated to the development and delivery of innovative pedagogical approaches to improve student learning across several undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The role is responsible for identifying high-value collaboration opportunities, shaping business models for applied AI projects, and securing funding or co-development commitments that contribute to SNAIC’s long-term sustainability. Working at the intersection of technology and business, this role acts as SNAIC’s front-facing dealmaker, translating market demand, ecosystem signals, and AI innovation into viable partnerships across areas such as Generative AI, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, Digital Twins, and Multimodal AI. Success in this role requires strong commercial instincts, the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders, and the discipline to drive opportunities from early exploration through signed agreements and delivery. Key Responsibilities  1. Industry Engagement & Business Development Identify, qualify, and engage potential industry, government, and ecosystem partners for applied AI collaboration opportunities. Drive the deal process from initial discussion through to agreement. Manage active partnership accounts and track delivery milestones to ensure commitments, timelines, and outputs are met. 2. Marketing, Outreach & Positioning Contribute to industry events, workshops, showcases, and demos that strengthen SNAIC’s visibility and lead generation. Support development of partnership assets such as case studies, pitch decks, project proposals, and success stories. As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT.  The researcher will be part of the team of the NAMIC Project for 3DP Ship Hull Design. The Research Engineer will play a critical role in the development, validation, and optimization of 3D-printed Ship Hull and Connector System. This includes conducting finite element modeling, ship resistance and stability assessments, as well as overseeing AM process and reporting. The role also involves designing and validating connectors for the modular system to ensure mechanical integrity, printability and adaptability. Key Responsibilities Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. Undertake these responsibilities in the project: Resistance Analysis: Conduct simulations to analyze wave interactions, buoyancy, and stability of modular floating structures. Optimize designs for dynamic environmental conditions (e.g., waves, tides, currents). Finite Element and Structural Modeling: Develop and implement finite element models to evaluate structural integrity under load conditions. Perform stress, strain, and fatigue analysis for modular components and connectors. Stability Modeling: Analyze stability characteristics of 3DP ship hull under static and dynamic conditions. Collaborate with teams to develop safe and efficient hull design. Design and Development of Connectors: Design robust, durable connectors means for integrated multiple hull modular units Validate connector performance through simulations and physical testing. AM Process and Validation: Oversee the AM process and testing of 3DP ship hull and connector system. Data Collection and Analysis: Gather testing data during for design optimisation. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports on findings, including recommendations for system enhancements. Present outcomes and progress updates to stakeholders and collaborators. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including material scientists, engineers, and field technicians. Liaise with external partners and vendors for test site setup and equipment. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for marine environment. Maintain high safety standards during field operations and laboratory testing. Research Documentation and Dissemination: Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations to disseminate findings to academic and industry stakeholders.
