Your new workplace: The Institute of Civil Law (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christian Rabl) is seeking to fill a position as University Assistant (prae doc) starting April 6, 2026. The employment level is 30h/week. The employment for prae doc assistants is for 4 years, whereby the employment relationship is initially limited to 1.5 years and is automatically extended to a total of 4 years, unless the employer submits a declaration of non-renewal after a maximum of 12 months. Interested candidates with a degree and above-average academic achievements, particularly in civil law and in the minor subjects of private law, are invited to apply. This is what you do: You will be involved in research projects and academic studies in the field of civil law. We expect you to complete your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months. You will work on and complete your dissertation. You will teach courses independently in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement. You will take on administrative tasks in research and teaching.
