Gustavus Adolphus College is a liberal arts college founded in 1862 by Swedish immigrants to the USA. The college is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church and originally opened as a Lutheran parochial school before becoming the Gustavus Adolphus Literary & Theological Institute in 1873, named after the Swedish king. In 1876 the college moved to its current location in the town of St. Peter, Minnesota after the town offered it a grant of land and money. The institution is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  

Today the college educates its students across a wide range of subjects. There is a choice of over 70 programs across 24 different academic departments. The college also offers the innovative Three Crowns Curriculum which focuses on interdisciplinary study.

In 1963 the institution invited 26 Nobel laureates to attend the dedication ceremony of the college’s new Nobel Hall of Science. After the ceremony the annual Nobel Conference was established, an annual conference of science which takes place at the college under the Nobel name.

The campus covers 240 acres and features the college’s own farm, arboretum, art museum and library as well as student dining halls, residential facilities and sport and leisure services. The majority of students live on campus in halls or apartments, there is also the Carlson International Centre which is affiliated to the college’s Centre for International and Cultural Education. This centre coordinates the college’s study abroad programs and runs student services for international students studying at Gustavus Adolphus.

The aim of the project is to increase participation in physical activity among adults with intellectual disability. Postdoctoral Researcher (PostDoc) in Blue Economy, Coastal Luxury Tourism, Yachting Industry & Territorial Development Position Overview This position is launched by the Sustainable Real Estate Innovation Lab (SuRE In Lab) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (Morocco) as part of its strategic effort to expand its multidisciplinary research team. The Postdoctoral Researcher will directly contribute to the finalization and further development of the ongoing research project “Sustainable Tourism Development: Blueprint for a Green Luxury Yacht Cluster in the Tétouan Region”. Within this project, the candidate will help conceptualize and analyze sustainable models for luxury yachting and coastal tourism development in northern Morocco, while supporting SuRE In Lab’s broader mission of advancing innovative, sustainable, and territorially integrated approaches to real estate and coastal development. This role includes the design and execution of a dedicated work package on the Blue Economy and Yachting Value Chain, focusing on regional value chains connected to tourism, nautical services, and shipbuilding/repair. Key Responsibilities Under the direct leadership of the Director of SuRE In Lab, the selected candidate will develop the work package structured around: a. Value Chain Analysis in Marine & Maritime Sectors Conduct detailed mapping and analysis of the blue economy value chain, with emphasis on: Marine and coastal tourism Nautical and marina-based services Yachting operations and supporting infrastructure Identify strengths, gaps, innovation drivers, and strategic opportunities for sustainable development. b. Required Qualifications PhD in Blue Economy, Tourism Studies, Yachting and Maritime Economics, Territorial Planning, Real Estate Development, or related fields. About us: Child and Young People’s Psychological Trainings (CYP-PT) are a national suite of service transformation and new workforce programmes led and contracted by NHS England Workforce, Training & Education (NHSE-WTE), of which a large part is training for managers, supervisors, and therapy practitioners in delivering evidenced based, accountable therapies. Students are staff from the NHS, Local Authority and Voluntary Organisations. The CYP-PT programmes follow National Curricula. The Post Graduate Diploma in Therapies, including Systemic Family Practice is a highly specialist one-year full-time professional training programme, based in the Department of Psychology, School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences (MHaPS), Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London (KCL). The Systemic Family Practice strand of the programme is accredited by the Association of Family & Systemic Psychotherapy as an Intermediate level training. The programme is based at the Denmark hill campus and teaching on the programme is a mix of online and face to face lecture and small tutor groups. The role is to work with a small group of systemic trainees on the Eating Disorders pathway, and is therefore open to UKCP registered Family and Systemic Psychotherapists who have extensive experience in working in Eating Disorders services with children and adolescents.
