The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation is allocating funding in 2002/2003 to support arts and humanities, social science and science-based initiatives as well as educational and cultural exchanges. Applications are invited for projects that meet the objectives of the Foundation in the promotion of further links between Britain and Japan. The General Grants’ Programme in 2002/2003 is placing particular emphasis upon travel bursaries and support for conferences and educational programmes. Funding of any single project is unlikely to exceed £5,000.
