Established in 2025, the MAHKCS is a pioneering postgraduate programme dedicated exclusively to Hong Kong Cultural Studies. It provides an interdisciplinary exploration of the humanities disciplines about Hong Kong, including its language, literature, culture, society, creative industries, cinema, and media, with academic training on a problem-based approach to understand the city’s role in the Greater Bay Area and its connection with China in a global context.
