The University of Wolverhampton has sold its Dudley campus as part of a cost-cutting and redevelopment plan. The site has been sold for an undisclosed sum to Dudley College, which is to become an associate college offering Wolverhampton foundation degrees.

Vice-chancellor John Brooks said the move would help fund £60 million of investment in the university's campuses in Wolverhampton, Walsall and Telford.

The university's humanities, languages and social sciences school has been moved from Dudley to Wolverhampton.
