Westminster winners

Journalism students at the University of Westminster won all three BBC awards for up-and-coming investigative journalists. The gold award went to Samantha Washington and Phillip Kemp for their examination of the Church of Scientology's recruiting tactics. Emma Jones and Louise Champ won silver for a study of human abuse of the drug ketamine. And Rebecca Fielding and Charlotte Cross won bronze for their examination of the animal liberationists' campaign against Huntingdon Life Sciences. The students all completed a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism.
