Weightless watchers recruit students

三月 3, 2000

The European Space Agency is seeking 30 teams of up to four student researchers to fly on a specially adapted Airbus A-300 that follows a parabolic flight path to create near-zero gravity conditions for 30 seconds.

The flight will give students the chance to design and test their microgravity experiments, the best of which will be considered for inclusion on the International Space Station.

Preliminary experiment designs will have to be submitted by March 31. Details can be found on the ESA website: http://www.estec.esa.nl/outreach/pfc.
