Validation of alternative test methods - call for expressions of interest

The Institute for Health and Consumer Protection of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has launched a call for expressions of interest for the validation of alternative test methods.

This call for expression of interest shall be divided into the following 20 sub-fields. Expressions of interest are invited for all or some of the following fields (sub-list):

systemic toxicity;

topical toxicity;

sensitisation;

carcinogenicity/genotoxicity;

reproductive toxicity;

pharmaco- and toxicokinetics;

ecotoxicology;

computational toxicology;

toxicology of nanoparticles;

biostatistics and bioinformatics;

food safety;

biologicals;

pharmaceuticals;

good laboratory practice;

good cell culture practice;

omics technologies;

robotised testing for cell and tissue culture application;

endpoint detection technologies for cell and tissue culture applications;

Correlate: reference laboratory for alternative testing methods, including assessment of equivalence, test substances evaluations, comparative studies and monitoring;

agrochemicals.
