Graduation ceremonies have not been renowned for romance - until now. Business information technology graduate Russell Reardon chose celebrations at Staffordshire University's school of computing in Stoke-on-Trent to propose to his girlfriend, Andrea Underwood. On hand was Cupid, in the form of vice-chancellor Christine King, who called Mr Reardon to the microphone to declare his feelings.
