Imperial College students protest at fees
Students at Imperial College, London, today held a silent protest against proposals to introduce market-rate tuition fees. The protest was staged outside the rector's house, where the college council met to discuss the plans. The students want a full debate on the proposals.

Glasgow in dotty weekend record bid
Glasgow University's Hunterian art gallery tomorrow hopes to break the world record for the greatest number of people drawing simultaneously. In collaboration with the Campaign for Drawing's Big Draw initiative, it will house a human dot-to-dot, with everyone in the gallery invited to hold onto a line of wool while scribbling on paper.

Wolverhampton students join Big Draw
Students from the University of Wolverhampton are putting the first strokes to a giant outdoor painting that will grace a new multi-million pound cultural centre for West Bromwich. They are helping to create the 58ft by 8ft piece of art on the site of the old bus station as a contribution to the Big Draw.
