University of the West of England - Olympic partnership

Kenya's Olympic team is to use a university campus as its base for the 2012 Games. The University of the West of England in Bristol has agreed to provide accommodation and training facilities for the athletes, after a visit by a delegation from Kenya on 1 November to finalise plans. A wider partnership between Kenya and Bristol will also lead to the twinning of schools, sporting and educational exchanges and the developing of links between further and higher education in both countries.
