Top cricketers were put through their paces by sports-science students as part of a collaboration between a cricket club and the University of Salford. Members of Lancashire County Cricket Club's first team were analysed for speed, strength, power, agility, flexibility, body fat and endurance at the university's "human performance labs" in the School of Health Care Professions. The results will help coaches plan a training strategy for the season ahead.
