University of Leicester - Loving your work

An award scheme to celebrate good teaching has been launched by students. The "I Love my Academic" award scheme, launched by the University of Leicester Students' Union, will recognise "innovation, style and methodology" in teaching. Each of the university's four colleges will bestow an Academic of the Year Award. Winners will be selected on the basis of the supporting statements accompanying their nominations, rather than the number of nominations each candidate receives.
