University of Hull - Log on for Domesday

The first complete electronic version of the Domesday Book has been produced by a University of Hull researcher. The electronic version of the 1086 survey of England, which was created by John Palmer using a grant from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, includes translations and detailed scholarly commentary and makes the record easier to access and understand.
